We have been working in the area since 1967, when Puerto Francisco de Orellana- Coca was only accessible by boat. There were no roads to travel on. All the food and equipment people used was carried was by boat from Misahualli Nuevo Rocafuerte near the Peruvian border. Back the travelers would leave Misahualli before sunrise and get as far as this point, so it turned into a place where travelers would stop and rest on their journey. Originally, travelers would stay in the homes of indigenous people or colonists, so we saw the need to build lodging for travelers and, since 1971, we have been working hard to try and provide the best of services. So, in 2002 we created the adventure tourism department jointly with different native ethnic groups, with the aim of providing responsible and sustainable tourism

Our objective

is to develop adventure tourism that includes hiking, canoeing, and camping in the forest i order to observe animal and plant species that can only be found in this part of the world. We enter and leave the forest without leaving a trace and without affecting native cultures in a negative way by producing hierarchy and dramatically changing their forms of life. Our most basic goal is to protect the forest, the plants and animals, the indigenous cultures, the histories and myths. We want to help sustain this paradise for the next generation and those that follow them as the world around the paradise changes.

Vision:

We try to maintain the forest in its pure state, and assist the indigenous groups living in the high Amazon of Ecuador to live sustainably through ecotourism projects.  Our major goal is to protect the fauna and the flora or the Ecuadorian rainforest.  We cannot continue to permit the hunting of animals; we should give an alternative to the natives so that they change their daily diet.  As one of the few alternatives we believe that through developing a shared tourism, they will be able to maintain and enjoy another form of life and living
